# Change your profile, language, theme and accessibility settings

Change your name and profile picture, the language, the light or dark theme, and the text and motion settings that make Drime easier to use.

Your profile and display preferences are in **Settings**: click your avatar, top right, then **Settings**.

## Change your name and profile picture

1. In **Settings**, open **Account details**.

2. Under **Update name and profile image**, edit your first and last name.

3. To change the picture, upload an image and crop it.

   Use a PNG, JPG or WEBP image up to 2 MB, or choose **Upload via Drime** to pick an image from your Drive.

   To go back to no picture, choose **Remove image**.

Saving your name shows **Updated account details**. A new picture shows **Uploaded avatar**, and removing it **Removed avatar**.

## Change the language, the theme and the date format

In **Settings** \> **General**:

- **Appearance**: choose **System** (follows your computer), **Light** or **Dark**. Under **Theme**, pick the colour the interface is tinted with.
- **Language & Region**: choose the **Language** of the interface, your **Country**, the time zone (or turn on **Automatic time zone**), the **Date format** and the **Clock format**, then click **Save**.

The avatar menu also has **Theme** and **Language**, to switch quickly.

## Make Drime easier to read

In **Settings** \> **Accessibility**:

- **Text**: choose the **Font family** (the theme font, your system default, Arial, Times New Roman or OpenDyslexic, a typeface designed for readers with dyslexia) and the **Font size**. You can also turn on **Increase text spacing** and **Bold text**.
- **Display & motion**: turn on **Always show focus outline**, **Default scrollbars**, **Disable animations** or **Always underline links**.

If your computer is set to reduce motion, animations are already off.

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **Image is too large. Max 2MB.** | Pick a smaller image, up to 2 MB. |
| **Please choose an image file.** | The file is not an image. Choose a PNG, JPG or WEBP image. |
| **Could not load that image.** | The image could not be opened. Try another image, or save it again in another format. |
| **Could not process the image.** | The picture could not be prepared. Try again, or choose another image. |
| There is no **Appearance** section | It can be turned off for your account. Use **Theme** in the avatar menu if it is there. |
