## Limit the speed

| Setting | Options | Default |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Upload rate limit** | Auto, **No limit**, or **Limit to** a value in KB/s | Auto |
| **Download rate limit** | **No limit**, Auto, or **Limit to** a value in KB/s | **No limit** |

Today, Auto applies no limit. To actually cap the speed, choose **Limit to** and enter a value.

## Use a proxy

Under **Custom proxy settings**, use your system's proxy settings or enter an **HTTP(S) Proxy** by hand. Tick **Proxy server requires password** if it needs a sign-in.

## Keep the computer awake

Turn on **Prevent sleep during sync** so that your computer does not go to sleep while files are syncing. It is off by default.
