# Keyboard shortcuts

The keyboard shortcuts of the Drime web app to navigate, select, share, move, download and create files faster, on Windows and Mac.

To see the list in the app, press `Ctrl` + `/` or `Shift` + `?`, or open **Help** \> **Keyboard shortcuts**.

On a Mac, use `Cmd` instead of `Ctrl`, and `Option` instead of `Alt`.

## Navigate

| Shortcut | Action |
| --- | --- |
| `/` | Search |
| Letters | Jump to the first item whose name starts with them |
| `Enter` | Open the selected item |
| Arrow keys | Move through the list |
| `Esc` | Clear the selection |

## Select

| Shortcut | Action |
| --- | --- |
| `Shift` + arrow keys | Extend the selection |
| `Ctrl` + `A` | Select all |
| `Ctrl` + `Shift` + `A` | Deselect all |
| `Shift` + `Space` | Select or deselect the current item |

## Act on the selection

| Shortcut | Action |

| `F2` | Rename |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `A` | Share |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `L` | Copy the share link |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `M` | Move to |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `S` | Add to starred |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `P` | Preview |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `D` | Download |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `R` | Make a copy |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `Y` | Show the details panel |
| `Ctrl` + `C`, `Ctrl` + `V` | Copy and paste |
| `Delete` | Move to the Trash |
| `Ctrl` + `X` | Move to the Trash (it does not cut) |

## Create

| Shortcut | Action |
| --- | --- |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `F` | New folder |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `U` | Upload files |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `Shift` + `U` | Upload a folder |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `O` | New document |

## View

| Shortcut | Action |
| --- | --- |
| `Ctrl` + `Alt` + `V` | Switch between list and grid |
