**Photos** gathers the images and videos of your Drive in one place, sorted by date, wherever they are stored.

## Browse your photos

In the sidebar, click **Photos**. Your photos and videos appear as a timeline grouped by year, month or day. Three tabs sit at the top: **Photos**, **Albums** and **Map**.

You can:

- show **All**, only **Photos**, only **Videos** or only **Live** photos, or narrow to **Starred** items or to items with a **Location**;
- sort by **Date taken**, upload date or modification date, newest or oldest first;
- choose the source: **Whole library**, **Camera uploads** (photos sent from your phone) or a folder you pick, and use **Exclude folders…** to leave some folders out.

## Create albums

Albums let you group photos and videos without moving them.

1. At the top of **Photos**, open the **Albums** tab and click **Create album**.

2. Name the album (up to 250 characters) and click **Create**.

   The album opens. It is empty at first: **This album is empty**.

3. Click **Add photos** to pick photos and videos.

   From the timeline, you can also right-click a photo and choose **Add to album**.

The album page also has a **Share** button.

In an album, right-click a photo to **Remove from album** or **Set as album cover**.

Deleting an album does not delete its photos: they stay in your Drive.

## See your photos on a map

The **Map** tab places your photos that carry a location on a world map. Until one of your photos has a location, it shows **No photos with a location yet**: photos taken with a phone or a GPS camera carry their location. New photos appear on it once Drime has read their location, which happens in the background.
