Click Undo right after you move or delete files in Drime, or put them back later from the Trash or with Move to.

Right after you move or delete files, a message at the bottom of the screen offers **Undo** for a few seconds. After that, you can still put the items back yourself.

## Undo a move

After a move, the confirmation message offers **Undo**. Click it to put the items back where they were.

Once the message has gone, move the items back with **Move to**. See [Create, rename, move and copy files and folders](https://drime.cloud/support/drive/organize-files-and-folders).

## Undo a deletion

Deleted items go to the Trash, and **Moved 1 item to trash** appears with **Undo**. Click **Undo** to put them back right away.

Once the message has gone, restore the items from the Trash. See [Restore deleted files from the Trash](https://drime.cloud/support/drive/restore-deleted-files).

> **Warning**
>
> `Ctrl` + `X` doesn't cut in Drime: it moves the selection to the Trash. If it happened by mistake, click **Undo**.

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| The message with **Undo** has gone | Restore deleted items from the Trash, or move items back with **Move to**. |
| The item isn't in the Trash | It may have been deleted permanently, or the Trash was emptied. A permanent deletion can't be undone. See [My files are missing](https://drime.cloud/support/troubleshooting/files-missing). |
