# Get started with Drime in five minutes

Your first steps in Drime: create a folder, upload your files, share a link and install the apps you need.

These four steps cover what most people do first in Drime.

1. Create a folder.

   Above the file list, click **Create folder**, type a name and press `Enter`. More in [Create, rename, move and copy files and folders](https://drime.cloud/support/drive/organize-files-and-folders).

2. Upload your files.

   Open the folder, click **Upload**, then **Upload files** or **Upload folder**. You can also drag files from your computer onto the page.

   The upload panel, at the bottom right, shows the progress and **Upload complete** at the end. More in [Upload files and folders](https://drime.cloud/support/drive/upload-files-and-folders).

3. Share a link.

   Right-click a file or folder and choose **Get link**: the link is copied, ready to paste in a message. By default, **Anyone with this link can view**; click **Manage** to change what visitors can do. 4. Get the apps.

   Click **Help** at the bottom of the left rail, then **Download apps**, to install Drime on your Windows or macOS computer, or on your Android or iOS phone. More in [Drime on the web, your computer and your phone](https://drime.cloud/support/getting-started/drime-apps).

## If it doesn't work
