# Reset a forgotten password

Forgot your Drime password? Request a reset link by email, choose a new password, and what to do if the link has expired.

If you forgot your password, Drime emails you a link to choose a new one.

> **Important**
>
> This resets your account password. A forgotten Vault Pass cannot be reset this way: see [I forgot my Vault Pass](https://drime.cloud/support/vault/forgot-your-vault-pass).

## Reset your password

1. On the sign-in page, enter your email, click **Continue**, then click **Forgot password?**.

2. On **Forgot Password**, enter your email address and click **Continue**.

3. Open the email from Drime and click the reset link.

   The link works for 60 minutes.

4. On **Reset your account password**, enter your new password twice and confirm.

**Your password has been reset!** confirms it. For your security, every other session is signed out: sign in again on your other devices.

## If it does not work

| Problem | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **This password reset token is invalid.** | The link has expired or was already used. Request a new one. |
| **We can't find a user with that e-mail address.** | Check the address, or try the other email addresses you use. |
| No email received | Wait a moment and check your spam folder. You can request a new link after 60 seconds. |
