# Report an abusive link or content

Report a Drime share link that contains spam, malware, copyrighted, illegal or inappropriate content. You do not need a Drime account to do it.

If a Drime share link contains spam, a virus, content that infringes copyright, or illegal or inappropriate content, you can report it to Drime from the link page. You do not need a Drime account.

## Report a share link

1. On the link page, click the flag button at the bottom left (**Report a problem**).

2. In **What type of problem would you like to report?**, choose the type of problem.

   The choices are **Spam, fraud or phishing**, **Malware or virus**, **Copyright violation**, **Illegal or dangerous content**, **Inappropriate content** and **Other**.

3. Describe the problem.

   The **Link** field is filled in for you. Add a **Title (optional)** and a **Description** to explain what is wrong. **Your name (optional)** and **Your email address (optional)** can stay empty.

4. Click **Send**.

The message **Report submitted successfully. Thank you.** confirms it. The Drime team reviews each report.

> On a shared video or audio file, the **Report a problem** button is not shown. To report such a link, [contact Drime support](https://drime.cloud/support/getting-started/contact-drime-support) and include the link.

If you hold the rights to content shared through Drime, you can also send a complaint from the [copyright complaint page](https://drime.cloud/copyright-complaint).

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **An error occurred. Please try again.** | The report was not sent. Check your connection and send it again. |
| There is no **Report a problem** button | The link opens a video or an audio file, where the button is not shown. [Contact Drime support](https://drime.cloud/support/getting-started/contact-drime-support) with the link. |
| You hold the rights to the content | Use the [copyright complaint page](https://drime.cloud/copyright-complaint) as well. |
