When someone sends you a document with Drime Sign, you receive an email with a signing link. You do not need a Drime account, and you can sign from a computer, a tablet or a phone browser.

## Sign the document

1. Open the email, then click the signing link.

The page shows the name of the person who invites you to sign, and the fields you have to complete.

2. If the sender asked for it, confirm who you are first.

With email verification, enter the 6-digit code sent to you: **It expires in 5 minutes.** If it did not arrive, click **Didn't get the code? Send it again**. If the link is protected by a password, the page says **The sender has protected this signing link with a password.**: enter the password the sender gave you.

3. Click **Start** to go to your first field.

4. Fill in each field, then add your signature.

Click the signature field and choose **Draw** (with your mouse or finger), **Type** your name, or **Upload** an image of your signature.

5. Accept the terms of service and the privacy policy, then click **Finalize**.

By signing, you consent to sign the document electronically. Your signature, its timestamp and the checks performed are recorded in the audit certificate.

**Done!** confirms it. **You will receive a copy by email once all signers have signed.** You can also click **Download the signed document**.

If the sender set a signing order, you can only sign when your turn comes: the earlier signers sign first.

## Decline to sign

1. On the signing page, click **Decline**.

2. In **Decline to sign?**, write your reason if you want.

The field reads **Tell the sender why you are not signing...**. The dialog warns: **By declining, this document will be marked as refused and nobody else will be able to sign it. The sender will be notified.**

3. Click **Yes, decline**.

**You have refused to sign this document. The sender has been notified.** confirms it. Once you have signed, you can no longer decline.

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **This signing link has expired or the document was cancelled.** | Each signer's link stays valid for 30 days, and the sender can also cancel the document. Ask the sender to send it again. |
| **Signing link not found** | The link is incomplete or wrong. Open it again from the email, or ask the sender for a new one. |
| **You have already signed this document.** | Your signature is recorded. You will receive a copy by email once all signers have signed. |
| **It is not your turn to sign yet.** | The sender set a signing order. You will be able to sign once the earlier signers have signed. |
| **Too many attempts. Please try again in a minute.** | Wait a minute, then enter the code again. |
| **Incorrect password. Please try again.** | Check the password with the sender. |
| **File is too large (max 15 MB)** | A file you attach to an attachment field can weigh up to 15 MB. Choose a smaller file. |
| **Unable to load document. Check the link or contact the sender.** | Reload the page from the email link. If it keeps failing, contact the sender. |
