# How many signature requests can I send?

Monthly signature request limits by Drime plan, what counts as a request, and what happens when you reach the limit of the free and Starter plans.

**How many signature requests does my plan include?**

| Plan | Signature requests |

| Starter | 3 per calendar month |
| Essentials, Professional, Advanced | Unlimited |

**Does signing a document myself count?**

No. Signing a document yourself is unlimited on every plan and is not counted as a request. See [Sign a document yourself](https://drime.cloud/support/sign/sign-a-document-yourself).

**What counts as one request?**

Each request you send to other people for signature counts as one, even if it contains several documents. With bulk send, each copy sent to a recipient counts toward the monthly limit. See [Templates and bulk send](https://drime.cloud/support/sign/templates-and-bulk-send).

**What happens when I reach the limit?**

Drime shows **You've reached your free signature limit** before sending, and nothing is sent. You can send new requests again at the start of the next calendar month, or upgrade to Essentials or a higher plan with **Upgrade to Essentials**.

**Are there other limits on a request?**

Yes: each document can be up to 50 MB, and one request can hold up to 20 documents. See [Send a document for signature](https://drime.cloud/support/sign/request-signatures).

## If it doesn't work

| What you see | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **You've reached your free signature limit** | You have sent your 3 requests of the month. Wait for the next calendar month, or click **Upgrade to Essentials**. |
| **You have used your 3 free signature requests for this month. Upgrade to the Essentials plan or higher to keep sending signature requests.** | Same limit: nothing was sent. Signing a document yourself still works. |
| **Your monthly signature request quota was reached, remaining rows were skipped.** | During a bulk send, the rows after your limit were not sent: they show **Skipped: quota reached**. Send them next month, or upgrade. |
