What Drime error messages mean, from Unauthenticated. to Server Error, and what to do for each: session expired, not allowed, too many attempts, links.

This page lists the messages the Drime web app can show when something goes wrong, and what to do for each one. Some of them come straight from Drime's servers and appear in English, even when the app is in French.

## Signed out: session expired

**You were signed out because your session expired. Please sign in again.** appears on the sign-in page. Elsewhere, the same cause can show **Unauthenticated.**

Sign in again. If it happens every time you restart your browser, your browser is deleting the cookies of drime.cloud: allow cookies for drime.cloud in your browser settings.

## Page expired

**CSRF token mismatch.** means the page was open for too long. Drime first fetches a fresh token and tries again on its own. If the message still shows, reload the page and sign in again.

## Not allowed

**This action is unauthorized.** or **There was an issue loading this page** means you don't have the right to do this, or to see this page.

- Check that you are signed in to the right account.
- Check that you are in the right workspace, with the workspace switcher at the bottom of the side panel.
- If the item belongs to someone else, ask them for access. See [Sharing permissions explained](https://drime.cloud/support/sharing-and-collaboration/sharing-permissions).

## Too many attempts

Drime slows down repeated attempts to protect your account:

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **Too many login attempts. Please try again in … seconds.** | After 5 failed sign-ins within a minute, wait for the time shown. See [I can't sign in](https://drime.cloud/support/troubleshooting/cant-sign-in). |
| **Too Many Attempts.** | Wait a minute, then try again. |
| **Too many attempts** with **Wait a few minutes, then try again.**, on a shared link | Too many wrong passwords were typed for this link: 10 tries per link within 15 minutes. Wait, then try again. See [Protect a link with a password or an expiration date](https://drime.cloud/support/sharing-and-collaboration/protect-a-link). |

## Server error

**Server Error**, in a message or on a page that reads 500 \| Server Error, means the problem is on Drime's side. Reload the page. If it lasts, see [Drime seems down or very slow](https://drime.cloud/support/troubleshooting/drime-is-down), then [contact support](#contact) with the time and the address of the page.

## Page not found

**Page not found** with **The page you're looking for doesn't exist or has been moved. Let's get you back on track.** means the address is wrong, or the item was removed or is not shared with you. Click **Back to home** or **Go back**.

## A part of the app failed to load

**This page couldn’t be loaded.** with **A part of the app failed to load. Reloading usually fixes it.** usually shows right after Drime was updated. Click **Reload page**.

## In a workspace

- **Workspace not found.** appears when you upload or create a folder in a workspace that no longer exists, or that you were removed from. Drime then switches you to your personal space on its own.
- **This invite is no longer valid** means a workspace invitation was revoked or already used. Ask for a new one. See [Accept or decline a workspace invitation](https://drime.cloud/support/workspaces/join-a-workspace).

## On a shared link

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **This link has expired** | **Ask the person who shared it for a new link.** |
| **Too many attempts** | **Wait a few minutes, then try again.** |
| **This link can’t be opened right now** | **Something went wrong on our side. Try again in a moment.** |

## Any other message

**There was an issue. Please try again.** is a general message: try again. If it keeps coming back, contact support.
