# Accept or decline a workspace invitation

You were invited to a Drime workspace? Accept the invitation from the email or the notification, with the right account, or decline it.

When someone invites you to a workspace, you receive an email and a notification in Drime. Workspace invitations are personal: there is no invitation link to share.

## Accept the invitation

1. Open the invitation: click **Join your team** in the email, or open the notification in Drime.

2. Sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to.

   If you have no Drime account yet, create one with that address.

3. In the invitation, click **Join**.

**Joined workspace** confirms it. The workspace now appears in your workspace switcher, at the bottom of the side panel.

## Decline the invitation

Open the invitation and click **Decline**. **Declined workspace invitation** confirms it.

## If it does not work

| Message | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| **This invitation was sent to … Sign in with that account to join.** | You are signed in with another account. Sign out, then sign in with the address the invitation was sent to. |
| **This invite is no longer valid** | The invitation was revoked or already used. Ask the person who invited you to send a new one. |
| **This workspace already has the maximum number of members allowed. To add more members, upgrade your plan.** | The workspace has no free place. Ask the person who invited you: the owner can upgrade their plan or remove a member. |
