We’re excited to announce the launch of our new video player in Drime, designed to deliver a faster, smoother, and more modern video playback experience. Recognizing that the majority of shared files on Drime are media, and particularly videos, we’ve created an updated player to meet your needs. This enhanced player offers:

• A sleek, modern design: Cleaner lines and an uncluttered interface ensure a visually appealing experience, aligning with the latest design principles.

• Improved functionality: Enhanced controls make it easier to fast-forward, rewind, and adjust playback speed. Caption management is also now more intuitive.

The new player is available starting today (04/01/2025) for all Drime users.

Getting started

You don’t need to do anything to enable this feature—it’s automatically available for everyone. Visit our Help Center to learn more about how to store and play videos in Drime Cloud.

Availability

The new video player is available to all Drime Cloud users, including both individual subscribers and enterprise accounts.
