Encryption & File Security

All communications with Drime are encrypted using HTTPS (TLS), securing your data in transit between your devices and our servers.

Files stored in the Drime Vault are protected with end-to-end encryption (E2EE). This means:

• Your files are encrypted on your device before upload.

• Only you hold the decryption keys.

• Not even Drime can access the contents of your Vault files.

Files outside Vault are encrypted server-side, allowing previews, collaboration, and faster access — while still being hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centers.

GDPR Compliance & Hosting

Drime is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your personal data is handled transparently and legally. We:

• Host your files exclusively in the EU (Paris, France & Amsterdam, Netherlands).

• Never sell, share, or monetize your personal data.

• Store only the minimum necessary to provide our service.

Your rights, including access, rectification, deletion, data portability and more, are guaranteed. You can request any of these at contact@drime.cloud, and we’ll respond within 2 days.

Minimal Data Collection

We only collect what’s essential:

• When signing up: name, email, and password.

• If you subscribe: billing info (via PayPal or Stripe, both GDPR-compliant).

• When using “Send & Track”: recipient email, download status, location, and interaction (only if you enable this feature).

We use analytics tools to understand general usage patterns across our platform (such as page views, traffic sources, device types, and session duration). Analytics data is never linked to your personal Drime account or email address. In other words, we track usage, not users. We don’t use analytics for advertising or profiling, and no data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting support. Once deleted:

• Your personal data is permanently and irreversibly erased.

• No hidden copies are kept.

• Files in your Vault and Drive are also deleted (except billing records legally required).

Drime does not train AI models on your data. Ever.

Payment Security

All payments are handled by trusted processors:

• PayPal and Stripe manage your billing securely.

• Drime never stores card details.

• Both use industry-standard encryption and follow strict EU data laws.

Extra Security

We support two-factor authentication (2FA) to protect your account even if your password is compromised. Enable 2FA in your settings for enhanced security.

Strict internal policies, access controls, firewalls, and risk assessments ensure data stays safe, but remember, you’re responsible for securing your password.

A Responsible Cloud

Drime is built and hosted in Europe. We partner with data centers that follow high environmental and security standards.

We don’t track. We don’t monetize your datas. Drime is a secure, private, and EU-hosted alternative to big tech clouds.
