Change your password

Change your Drime account password from the Security settings when you know your current one. Your other sessions are signed out.

Updated Web

If you know your current password, you can change it in your security settings. If you forgot it, see Reset a forgotten password instead.

  1. At the top right, click your avatar, then Settings.

  2. Click Security.

  3. In Update password, enter your Current password.

    The section reminds you: Use a strong password you don't use anywhere else. Changing it signs out your other sessions.

    The password section of the Security settings, with the Current password, New password and Confirm password fields
  4. In New password, type the new password.

    A strength meter under the field tells you whether it is strong enough, with a tip when it is not. See Password rules.

  5. Type it again in Confirm password.

  6. Click Update password.

The message Password changed confirms it.

To check what is still signed in afterwards, look at Web browsers and Devices & apps in the same settings, or use Logout other sessions. See See and sign out your sessions and devices.

#Password rules

Your new password must:

  • have at least 5 characters;

  • reach at least Fair on the strength meter (the levels are Too weak, Weak, Fair, Strong and Very strong);

  • not be built from your name or your email address, which makes it easy to guess.

A workspace you belong to can require a stronger password.

What to do

The provided password does not match your current password.

The current password is wrong. Type it again, or reset it if you forgot it.

This password is too easy to guess. Make it longer, or mix in words that have nothing to do with each other.

The new password is below Fair. Make it longer, or use several unrelated words.

Your team requires a strong password. Add length and avoid names, dates and common words.

A workspace you belong to asks for stronger passwords. Make the new one longer and less predictable.

#Your Vault Pass is separate

This password is not your Vault Pass, and changing it does not change your Vault Pass. See I forgot my Vault Pass.
