Create folders, rename, move and copy files and folders in Drime, by menu, drag and drop or keyboard shortcut, and choose how the list is shown and sorted.
Keep your Drive tidy with folders, and move or copy items wherever you need them.
#Create a folder
Open the folder where the new folder should go.
Click Create folder above the file list.
In an empty folder, click the Folder card under Create.
Type a name and press Enter.
Folder created confirms it. Shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + F (Cmd + Option + F on a Mac).
A folder name can have up to 200 characters. Two folders in the same place cannot have the same name: Folder with same name already exists. appears.
#Rename
Right-click the item and choose Rename, or select it and press F2. Type the new name and click Save. Names can have up to 200 characters.

A message such as "Notes.txt" renamed to "Meeting notes.txt" confirms it, with Undo to go back to the old name.
#Move
Right-click the item and choose Move to.
Shortcut: select it and press Ctrl + Alt + M (Cmd + Option + M on a Mac).
Pick the destination folder.
Click Move here.

You can also drag items onto a folder in the list, in the sidebar or in Quick access.
To move items to your personal space or to another workspace, choose it with the workspace selector at the bottom of the Move to dialog. See Move files between workspaces.
If an item with the same name is already in the destination, a number is added to the moved item's name. The confirmation message offers Undo.
#Copy
Right-click the item and choose Make a copy. Pick the destination folder, the current one included, and click Copy here. Copied 1 item confirms it, with Undo to remove the copy.
You can also use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V (Cmd on a Mac).
If the copy would clash with an existing name, Drime says so, for example 1 item is already called this in …, and asks what to do: Keep both, Replace (the existing item goes to the Trash) or Skip them. Back returns to the folder choice. With Skip them, nothing is copied: Nothing copied: 1 item was already there.
#Delete
Right-click the item and choose Delete, or press Delete. Moved 1 item to trash appears for a few seconds, with Undo to bring it back at once. After that, the item is still in the Trash, where you can restore it: see Restore deleted files from the Trash.
#Choose the view and the order
To change the view, click the view button above the list and choose Grid, Large grid or List.
To change the order, open the sort menu and choose Custom, Size, Name, Owner, Last modified, Upload date, Type or Extension, then Ascending or Descending.
Large folders load 100 items at a time as you scroll.
