What rights do I have over my personal data?

Under the GDPR, the Drime privacy policy lists these rights:

  • access: know whether Drime processes your personal data, and get access to it;

  • rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;

  • erasure, also called the right to be forgotten: have your data deleted under certain conditions;

  • restriction of processing: in specific situations, have Drime keep your data without processing it further;

  • data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;

  • objection: object to processing for direct marketing or based on Drime's legitimate interests;

  • not being subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.

See the privacy policy for the full text.

How do I make a request?

Email contact@drime.cloud and say which right you want to exercise.

Drime processes requests within 30 days. In some cases, it may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Can I download all my data from the app?

No. Drime has no export of a whole account. To keep a copy of your files, download them from your Drive. For a copy of your other personal data, make an access or portability request by email.

How do I correct my information?

You can change most of your account information yourself in Settings, for example your password or your email address. For anything else, contact contact@drime.cloud.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting your account deletes your files immediately and permanently. Drime keeps some data only as long as its legal, regulatory and contractual obligations require (see the privacy policy). See Delete your Drime account.

What if I am not satisfied with the answer?

You can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
