Save a shared file to your own Drime
Copy a file or folder someone shared with you into your own Drime, from a share link with Save to Drime or from Shared with me with Make a copy.
A copy you save is yours: it no longer depends on the original, and keeps working if the original is changed or deleted.
#From a share link
In Choose where to save this file in your Drime., pick a folder, then click Save here.

The copy of the file, or of the whole folder, shows its progress in the upload panel.
Save to Drime appears only when the link allows downloads.
#From Shared with me
On your Shared page, right-click the file and choose Make a copy, or press Ctrl + Alt + R. This needs download permission, and Drime checks that you have enough free space.
See Find files shared with you and leave a share.
#If it doesn't work
What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
No Save to Drime button | The link doesn't allow downloads: ask the person who shared it. |
Make a copy isn't available | You don't have download permission: ask the owner for Can Download or Can edit. |
