Share a signing link yourself

Copy each signer's own signing link to send it by chat or text, give it a custom address or a password, and reset a link that went to the wrong person.

Updated Web

Each signer has their own signing link. Instead of letting Drime email it, you can copy it and send it yourself, by chat, text message or any other way.

#Copy a signer's link

The Share signing link dialog with the link of a demo signer, Copy link and Manage

Copying the first link sends the request, without any email: it moves from Drafts to Pending. Send each signer their own link: each link belongs to one signer, and whoever opens it signs as that signer.

#Give the link a custom address or a password

  1. Click Save.

Link settings saved confirms it. A protected link shows Password protected.

Link settings with Custom link and Password protect turned on

Send the password to the signer separately from the link. When they open the link, they read The sender has protected this signing link with a password. and type it.

When a password is already set, the field says A password is currently set. Leave empty to keep it.

#Reset a link

If a link went to the wrong person, click Reset link in Share signing link. Link reset confirms it: the signer gets a new link, and you copy and send it again.

Every link copy and every change to a link is written to the request's audit trail.

This custom link is reserved.

Some words are kept for Drime's own pages (such as sign, templates, verify, api, drive, admin, login or settings). Choose another one.

This custom link is already taken.

Another signer's link already uses it. Add a word or a number to make it unique.

Could not save link settings

Check the custom link (3 to 60 characters, letters, digits, hyphens and underscores) and the password (at least 4 characters), then click Save again.

The signer cannot open the document

Check that they use their own link, and give them the password if the link is protected.
