Delete a signature request
Stop a signature request you no longer need by deleting it in Drime Sign, one document or several at once, and what to download before you do.
Drime Sign has no separate Cancel action: to stop a signature request, you delete it. Deleting removes the document from Sign for good.
#Delete one or several documents
Go to Tools > Sign.
Select the documents to delete.
Above the list, click the Delete icon.
In the confirmation dialog, which names how many documents you selected, click Delete.
The dialog warns: This will permanently remove the documents and cannot be undone.

#Delete from the document itself
Open the document in Tools > Sign, then click Delete. Here, the document is deleted at once, without a confirmation: Document deleted confirms it and you return to the list.
The Delete button shows only to the person who sent the request.
#Documents in a workspace
You can always delete your own documents. A document created in a workspace belongs to the team: deleting it needs a role that is allowed to delete files in that workspace. See Use Sign in a workspace.
#If it doesn't work
What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
You do not have permission to delete this document. | The document belongs to a workspace and your role cannot delete files there. Ask a workspace admin. |
Could not delete documents | Try again. If you selected team documents, check your role in the workspace. |
Delete is missing in the document | Only the sender of the request can delete it from there. |
