Organise pages with sub-pages and links
Build a wiki in Drime Pages with sub-pages, links between pages and a table of contents, and reorder your pages in the pages panel.
Pages lets you build a wiki: a home page that links to topic pages, which have their own sub-pages. Links between pages and a table of contents help readers find their way.
#Add a sub-page
In a page, type /, then choose Sub-page.
Drime creates a new page inside the current one and adds a card that links to it.

Click the card to open the sub-page, then give it a title.
The card always shows the current title of the sub-page, even after you rename it.
#Link to another page
Type /, then choose Link page.
You can also type @ directly.
Search for the page, then select it.
#Add a table of contents
Type /, then choose Table of contents. It lists the headings of the page and updates as you edit them. Click an entry to jump to its heading.
If the page has no heading yet, the block shows Add a heading to the page and it will show up here.
#Organise the pages panel
The pages panel, on the left of Tools > Pages in the web app, shows your pages as a tree. Click the arrow next to a page to show or hide its sub-pages.
Right-click a page to open its menu:
Menu item | What it does |
|---|---|
Open | Opens the page. |
New sub-page | Creates an empty sub-page inside it, and unfolds the page so you see the new one. |
Rename | Lets you type a new title in the panel. Sub-page cards and links show the new title. |
Duplicate | Creates a copy named after the page with (copy) at the end, right below it. Only the page is copied, not its sub-pages. |
Add to favorites | Pins the page to the Favorites section at the top of the panel. On a favorite, the item reads Remove from favorites. |
Move to trash | Moves the page and all its sub-pages to the trash, after you confirm. See Restore a page from the trash. |

#Move a page
Drag the page in the panel:
drop it on the top or bottom edge of another page to place it above or below;
drop it onto the middle of a page (the page is highlighted) to make it a sub-page of that page.
Its sub-pages move with it. You cannot drop a page into one of its own sub-pages. Pages in Favorites cannot be dragged: move them in the tree below.
#Restore a page from the trash
A page moved to the trash takes its sub-pages with it. Pages stay in the trash for 30 days, then they are deleted for good.
At the bottom of the pages panel, click Trash.
You can also use the Trash tab of the Pages home page.

Next to the page, click Restore.
The page goes back to its place, with the sub-pages that were trashed together with it.
The trash only lists the top page of each trashed group: restore it to bring back the sub-pages inside. To remove pages for good, use Empty trash, or the delete button next to a page in the trash. After you confirm, this cannot be undone.
#If it doesn't work
What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
A sub-page disappeared from the panel | Its parent page was probably moved to the trash. Restore the parent: the sub-page comes back with it. |
A restored page came back without one of its sub-pages | That sub-page was moved to the trash on its own, earlier. Restore it separately from the trash. |
The duplicate has no sub-pages | Duplicate copies only the page. Create the sub-pages again, or move existing ones under the copy. |
You cannot drop a page where you want | You are dropping it into one of its own sub-pages, or dragging it from Favorites. Drag it in the tree instead. |
You cannot rename, move, duplicate or trash a page | The page was shared with you without edit rights. Ask its owner for edit access. |
Could not restore pages | The restore failed on the Pages home page. Try again; if it keeps failing, contact Drime support. |
