Maximum file size and upload limits

How large a file you can upload to Drime, how many files you can send at once, how long an interrupted upload can resume, and what counts toward storage.

Updated Web

File size does not depend on your plan. The only limit that depends on your plan is your total storage.

Total storage

Depends on your plan

Drime sets no limit on folder depth.

#Large files

Large files are sent in parts. If a part fails, it is retried automatically. If the page is refreshed or the browser closes during an upload, upload the same file again from the same browser within 6 days: only the missing parts are sent.

#What counts toward your storage

Your storage is the total of your files plus:

  • earlier versions of your files;

  • files in your Trash, until they are deleted permanently;

  • files in your Vault.

The storage meter in the sidebar shows how much you use. When you reach 100%, uploads stop until you free up space or upgrade. See Check and free up storage space.
