Save web shortcuts in your Drive
Keep links to websites next to your files: a web shortcut sits in a folder like a file and opens the site in a new tab.
A web shortcut keeps a website's address in your Drive, next to the files it relates to. Opening it opens the site in a new tab.
#Create a web shortcut
Open the folder where you want the shortcut.
Above the file list, click Create, then Web shortcut.
In New web shortcut, type the address, for example
example.com.Drime adds
https://if you leave it out. You can also give the shortcut a name.Click Create.
Shortcut created confirms it.

#Use a shortcut
Double-click the shortcut to open the site in a new tab. Like any item, you can rename it, move it, star it or share it: see Create, rename, move and copy files and folders.
