Search in the app

In the Drime mobile app, the search field Search in Drime finds your files as you type. Small typos are tolerated.

#Search

1. Tap the search field Search in Drime.

   Your Recent searches appear below it. The app keeps up to 10 of them on your phone.

2. Type part of a name.

   Results appear as you type.

3. To find only names that contain exactly what you typed, tap the first suggestion.

   It repeats what you typed, with a magnifier icon.

#Filter the results

Chips under the search field narrow the results:

• by type: images, text, folders, Word documents, PDFs, audio, video, spreadsheets, presentations or archives;

• by modification date: today, the last 7 or 30 days, this year or last year;

• to the items you shared;

• to the folder you are in.

There is no filter by tag, size or owner in the app. For those, search on the web: see Find files with search.

#See photos on a map

When your results contain photos, View on map appears. Tap it to see where those photos were taken.
