Record your screen

You can record your screen from Drime, without installing anything. The video is saved to the folder you choose in your Drive.

#Record your screen

1. Above the file list, click Create, then Screen recording.

2. Under Recording mode, choose Full Screen, Window or Tab.

   Turn on Microphone to record your voice, and System audio to record the sound of your computer. If Drime has no access to your microphone yet, click Allow microphone access, then choose your microphone in the list, or No microphone.

3. Click Start Recording, then choose what to share in your browser's window.

   

4. Use the recording bar to pause, resume, mute the microphone or stop.

5. In Save recording to..., pick a folder and click Upload here.

   Select a destination folder for the recording. You can also create one with New Folder.

#Good to know

• Recording works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. In other browsers, This browser doesn't support recording. Try Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. appears.

• If you close the page before the video is saved, Drime warns you that the recording will be lost.

• If a recording was interrupted before it was uploaded, Drime finds it the next time you open it and offers to download it, under Recovered recording.

• If the microphone is blocked, allow it in your browser: click the camera or lock icon in the address bar, allow the microphone, then reload the page.
