Invite members to a workspace

Invite colleagues to your workspace by email, choose their role and their access to each team folder, and follow pending invitations.

Updated Web

Invite people to your workspace by email. Each person gets a role and an access level to each team folder.

The workspace owner can invite, and so can members whose role allows it, such as Workspace Admin.

#Invite members

  1. Click Invite members in the top bar, or in the workspace switcher.

  2. Add email: enter the email addresses of the people to invite, up to 100 at once.

  3. Manage access: choose each person's role and folder access.

For each team folder, choose Can edit, Can view or No Access. Optional: add a message.

  4. Review: check the summary and send the invitations.

The wizard shows how many licenses you have left. Members and pending invitations both count toward your plan's limit.

Role

What it allows

Workspace Admin

Manage workspace content, members, settings and invite new members.

Workspace Editor

Add, edit, move and delete workspace files.

Workspace Contributor

Add and edit files.

The owner can also create other roles in the admin console, under Roles > Add new role. See Change a member's role or remove them.

#What the invited person does

They receive an email and a notification in Drime. To join, they sign in with the invited email address and accept. See Accept or decline a workspace invitation.

There are no shareable invitation links: each invitation is sent to one email address.

#Follow pending invitations

Until an invitation is accepted, you can resend it, revoke it or change the role it gives. Open the workspace switcher, then Settings > Users: Pending invitations lists them, and Invite user sends a new one.
