Sign in with a passkey

A passkey lets you sign in to Drime with what your device already uses to unlock: Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a physical security key. You no longer type your password, and your password stays available as a backup.

#Add a passkey

1. At the top right, click your avatar, then Settings.

2. Click Security.

3. In Passkeys, click Add a passkey.

4. Follow your browser's or your device's prompt.

   Confirm with your face, your fingerprint, your PIN or your security key.

The message Passkey added successfully. confirms it. Each passkey then shows when it was Last used.

You can also add one from the prompt Sign in faster next time, which Drime shows after you sign in with your password if you have no passkey yet. Click Add a passkey, or Not now to skip.

#Sign in with a passkey

On the sign-in page, click Sign in with a passkey and confirm on your device. Your browser may also suggest your passkey as soon as you click in the email field.

If two-factor authentication is on, Drime still asks for your code after the passkey.

#Remove a passkey

In Settings > Security > Passkeys, click Remove next to the passkey. Passkey removed. confirms it. You can no longer sign in with that passkey, but your password and your other passkeys keep working.

Remove a passkey when you no longer use the device or the security key that holds it. With no passkey left, the panel shows No passkeys registered yet.
