Turn on two-factor authentication
Protect your Drime account with a code from an authenticator app at each sign-in, and keep recovery codes in case you lose your phone.
With two-factor authentication, signing in to Drime needs your password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. Someone who learns your password still cannot get into your account.
You need an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or any app that reads a QR code and generates time-based codes.
Two-factor authentication is available on every plan, the free plan too.
#Turn it on
At the top right, click your avatar, then Settings.
Click Security.
In Two factor authentication, click Enable.
If Drime asks for your password, enter it to continue.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
The panel now reads Finish enabling two factor authentication. If you cannot scan the code, type the key shown after Setup key in the app instead.

In Code, enter the 6-digit code the app shows, then click Confirm.
Click Download codes or Copy codes to save your 8 recovery codes.
Keep them somewhere safe, away from your phone.
Click I have saved my recovery codes.
The message Two factor authentication is now enabled. confirms it.
#Sign in with two-factor authentication
After your password, Drime asks for an Authentication code: Confirm access to your account by entering the authentication code from your authenticator app. Open your authenticator app, enter the current code for Drime, then click Continue.
If you do not have your phone, click Use a recovery code instead and enter one of your recovery codes in Recovery code. Each recovery code works only once. To go back to the code of your app, click Use authenticator code instead.
After 5 wrong codes within a minute, wait a minute before you try again.
Signing in with a passkey does not skip this step: Drime still asks for your code after the passkey.

#Manage your recovery codes
In Settings > Security > Two factor authentication:
Show recovery codes displays your current codes. Drime asks for your password first.
Regenerate recovery codes creates a new set. The old codes stop working: save the new ones.
Regenerate them after you use some of them, or if you think someone saw them.
#Turn it off
In Settings > Security > Two factor authentication, click Disable. The message Two factor authentication has been disabled. confirms it.
#Workspaces that require it
A workspace owner can require two-factor authentication in the workspace's security settings. Members who have not turned it on are asked to enable it: Drime shows Two-factor authentication required before they can use the workspace. The owner can make exceptions for some members.
