System requirements: browsers, computers and phones
The browsers, Windows and macOS versions and phones Drime works on, what to use on Linux, and where to download the Drime apps.
#On the web
Drime works in any modern browser at drime.cloud. It is built for Chrome 89, Edge 89, Firefox 89 and Safari 15, or later versions.
For very large folder uploads, the Drime team recommends a browser based on Chromium, such as Chrome, Edge or Brave.
#On your computer: Drime Desktop
System | Versions |
|---|---|
Windows | Windows 10 and later |
macOS | macOS 12 and later, on a Mac with Apple silicon |
Macs with an Intel processor are not supported.
See Install, update or uninstall Drime Desktop.
#On Linux or a server
There is no Drime app for Linux. Use rclone or the Drime CLI instead: see Rclone, Drime CLI and WebDAV.
#On your phone: the mobile app
The app is called Drime: Files Cloud Storage.
Device | Requirement |
|---|---|
iPhone | iOS 16 or later, from the App Store. It also runs on iPad, Macs with Apple silicon and Apple Vision Pro. |
Android | From Google Play, which tells you whether the app works on your phone. |
The two stores do not always get the same release on the same day: a new feature can reach iPhone before Android. See Install and update the Drime mobile app.
#Download the apps
In the web app, click Help at the bottom of the rail, then Download apps: this opens drime.cloud/download.
