Personal space and team workspaces

The difference between your personal space and a team workspace, how to switch between them, and how to rename your personal space.

Everyone has a personal space. Team workspaces come on top of it, for files you share with a team.

Members of a team workspace use the features of the owner's plan inside that workspace.

#Switch between spaces

The workspace switcher is at the bottom of the side panel. It shows the space you are in, for example Default with Personal workspace under it. Open it to choose another workspace.

From the same menu you can also open the workspace's settings, Invite members, leave a workspace or Create workspace.

#Rename your personal space

You can give your personal space its own name and picture with Customize your drive. Only you see this name: your files, links and shares do not change.
